The Palace of Sports, also known as Palacio de los Deportes in Spanish, is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Mexico City. It was built in 1968 for the Olympic Games held in the city that year and has since become a popular venue for sports events, concerts, and cultural performances. The arena has a seating capacity of over 20,000 and has hosted numerous international events, including the 2017 FIBA Americas Championship and the 2018 World Wrestling Championships. It is also a popular spot for locals and tourists to attend concerts by international artists and has hosted the likes of U2, Coldplay, and Paul McCartney.
