Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, is a beautiful coastal city situated on the northeast coast of Spain. One of the must-visit attractions in Barcelona is the iconic Sagrada Familia, a Basilica that has taken over 135 years to construct and has yet to be completed. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for its intricate carvings, towering ceilings, and colorful stained-glass windows. The famous artist, Antoni Gaudi, has greatly influenced the city's architectural style. His other works include Park Guell, a colorful public garden teeming with exquisite sculptures, mosaics, and unique patterns, and Casa Batllo, a visionary residential building that evokes the natural elements of the sea and plants.
