Shimla - Information
Shimla is a vibrant hill station located in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It was the summer capital of British India during the colonial era and is now a popular tourist spot. Shimla is situated at an altitude of 2,159 meters above sea level and is surrounded by beautiful hills and lush greenery. The city offers a blend of colonial and traditional Indian architecture, making it a unique and exotic place to visit.
Shimla is known for its magnificent Victorian architecture, with many of the buildings dating back to the colonial era. Some of the famous monuments include Christ Church, the State Museum, Viceregal Lodge, and the Jakhu Temple.
