Wesbanco Arena
WesBanco Arena is a multi-purpose arena located in downtown Wheeling, West Virginia. The arena, which was opened in 1977, has a seating capacity of up to 5,600 people and has been home to numerous sports teams, concerts, and other events. The arena was named after WesBanco Bank, a local banking institution that purchased the naming rights in 2003. The arena has hosted a variety of events, including hockey games, basketball games, wrestling matches, and concerts featuring artists like Elton John, KISS, and The Rolling Stones. The arena is also home to the Wheeling Nailers, a minor league hockey team.
