Coolidge Park
Coolidge Park is a scenic public park in the North Shore district of Chattanooga, Tennessee. The park was opened in 1999 and is named after President Calvin Coolidge. It spans 13 acres and is situated alongside the Tennessee River. The park offers a wide range of amenities and activities, including a beautifully restored antique carousel, a pavilion for outdoor concerts, a playground, picnic areas, and plenty of open green space. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the river and the Walnut Street Bridge, which is one of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world.
Coolidge Park is a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike, and it has received numerous accolades and awards over the years. In 2015, it was named the 'Best Public Space' in the state of Tennessee by the Tennessee American Planning Association.
