Bennett College

Bennett College is a private, historically Black women's college located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Founded in 1873, it is one of only two women's colleges in the state. The campus is home to several historic buildings, including Pfeiffer Hall, which was constructed in 1936 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The college's archives also house a variety of historical documents and artifacts related to the school and its alumni, including the papers of civil rights leader and Bennett alumna, Ella Baker.
