Walter E. Washington Convention Center
The Walter E. Washington Convention Center is a large convention and event facility in downtown Washington, D.C. The center opened in 2003 and has a total of 2.3 million square feet of exhibit space, making it one of the largest convention centers on the East Coast. The center has hosted a variety of events, including the presidential inauguration balls, international conventions, and trade shows. In addition to the exhibit space, the center features a 52,000 square foot ballroom, 77 breakout rooms, and a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the city. The center is named after Walter E.
