The hotel was set in a central area very close to Sage Gateshead, there were lots of people hanging around, and local bars / clubs. The employees were personable and kind.

I recently stayed at the Waterside Hotel for a short visit to Newcastle. The location is excellent, right on the quayside with easy access to cafes, bars, and attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home. My room had a great view of the quayside, a comfortable bed, and good facilities. The double glazing kept the traffic noise out, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep.
Would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful bathroom.
Our room was hot and gloomy, the airconditon did not work, they offered us a fan. After complaining they gave me a £40 discount.

The location is right in the city center, and the staff, in general, are friendly and genuinely caring, with some standout individuals.
