The location was great, very close to a famous landmark and easy to navigate the city from. The room itself was spacious which was a nice surprise. The Wi-Fi was also reliable and fast, which made it easy for us to stay connected during our romantic escape.
There were a lot of negative aspects to our stay. The staff didn't speak English, which made communication difficult and not enjoyable.

The room was big enough. Our room did not have a computer and when we asked for one, they made sure we were brought one instantly.
The staff spoke very little english. Actually, only one girl spoke some conversational english whereas everyone else just nodded without undertanding what I was saying. Also, they laughed a lot without any reason and kept waiting at times, just because they were laughing. Finally, the breakfast is just chinese, but obviously nobody warned us about that.

The room is well furnish and well arranged. The staff is friendly and efficient
When we entered the family room some empty bottles were hidden behind the curtain, and some sex toys on a shelf!! (In a family room). The daily cleaning is very light, no floor cleaning especialy.

It was really good price- quality deal, big rooms and really nicely decorated.Nice Xian centers, and only 10 minutes walk form bus stop form the airport and the city center.
Breakfast was not very good, and at recepcion desk only 1 people knew english.

The hotel is noisy. Almost nobody speaks English and they don't make any attempt to help you.

The location of the hotel was ideal as it was very close to the central attraction area. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the Wi-Fi connection was reliable, which was an added bonus.
One of the main challenges was the communication barrier, as staff did not speak English. This made it difficult to call a taxi, and we were only able to reserve one at a tripled price.

We liked the location, the modern design and the very friendly and helpful staff
The hotel is nice and in a good shape now becuase it's new or has been renovated recently. I'm afraid that in a couple of years it will be rather crappy due to poor design and cheap materials used.

Staff fantastic - gave me tips on local buses to Xian Terracotta Warriers, saving a fortune on "official" tours.Room huge with brilliant shower and loads of hot water.Free internet on computer in room.Would definitely recommend. Only a 10 min walk from the Shuttle bus terminus from the airport at Melody Hotel.
