Comfortable bed, appropriate room temperature, incredible staff. Regarding the staff, we had a similar experience as mentioned in the database. They promptly addressed our concerns and provided exceptional customer service. The location was peaceful and quiet. Although the hotel may be undergoing renovations, our room was not updated and had a few issues, such as a musty smell and peeling paint. However, considering the friendly staff and potential updates, I would still recommend this hotel.

The location was good for my purposes and there was an on site restaurant, and a McDonald's next door. Free WiFi was also a good feature.

Asked for an upper floor, but as I had not booked directly, was told only 1st floor available. A refrigerator in the room was an additional $10.00. The room had a mildewy odor. The wall controls for the heating did not control the unit.

We were given an inferior room on the first night but then asked to be moved to a room more in keeping with the booking we had made. However, the pictures on Booked.net still did not reflect the room and facilities we were given. The hotel said this was the fault of Booked.net. I have used their services many times in many countries....this is the first conflicting booking I have encountered.

The hotel had excellent food in the restaurant/pub and a great selection of coffee in the room. The 24-hour card key access provided an added level of security. The large bed pillows were incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. We also appreciated the quiet atmosphere and clean room.
