We stayed in a superior one bedroom suite with sea view and the room and views were incredible. We were in the main building almost at the top, and had two huge balconies and incredible views....

All right.

Both public/private pools were freezing. Also, I was told by mgmt that a] the pool was heated to 27degrees(and that they double checked it) and b] they only heat the pool in the "off season" - which August clearly is peak season, so this outright contradiction I found to be offensive, and I don't like being lied to like this.This is not 5 star service. After 3 days our pool warmed up some and was finally usable, but we weren't able to use it for half of our trip, which was why we selected this destination to begin with. Also, first 2 days were no service bec they were having a wedding next door and sent all the staff there, so we were with trainees and short staff - not impressed! But did get better/nice exp when pool temp & staff were back

Friendly staff, fast room service, clean rooms pools and beach, variety of tasty food, helpful and personal approach of staff.

Could not be improved in any way.

Incredible room with stunning views. Magical and helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet and dinner. Enjoyable saltwater pool and private beaches.

We were amazed by the stunning views from our room, overlooking the sea and the island. The privacy of the bungalows and the tranquility of the surroundings made our stay truly relaxing. The hotel was impeccably clean, with rooms...

The location is fantastic, with plenty of local bars to explore. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view of the ocean. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The hotel facilities, such as the spa and salt water pool, were top-notch.

The furniture in the room was outdated and could use some updating.

The views were absolutely amazing, and the staff were incredibly helpful and efficient. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food that catered to all tastes, with fresh food cooked on demand. Being close to the beach and having a private pool made it possible to relax without crowds.

The price of drinks was a bit high, which made it difficult to justify buying them at the hotel. Also, the Wi-Fi was spotty which was mildly inconvenient.

The location of the hotel was stunning, with breathtaking views of the sea and its surroundings. , the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, always happy to help with anything we needed. Another great aspect of our stay was the variety of food and drinks available, with a fantastic selection of local and international cuisine.

Our experience was marred by a few negative aspects. The first and most significant problem was the poor cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel, with noticeable wear and tear in several areas, including the furniture and the bathrooms.

The food at Elounda Mare was exceptional, with outstanding cuisine in all their restaurants. I was particularly impressed by the variety and quality of the dishes, and the presentation was exquisite. The hotel's attention to detail in their culinary offerings was truly impressive. The views from the hotel were also breathtaking, with a stunning vista overlooking the sea. The private beach provided the perfect spot for relaxation, and the spacious and quiet villas offered a serene retreat. The staff were incredibly attentive, helpful, and accommodating, ensuring that every need was met. The hotel's excellent facilities, including the spa and golf buggy service, added to the overall exceptional experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a restful and enjoyable stay.
